Linby Neighbourhood Plan 2018 - 2032

The Linby Neighbourhood Plan has been prepared by Linby Parish Council and sets out eleven planning policies to guide the development of Linby Parish up to 2032. Once the Plan is adopted, it will be used in conjunction with national and local planning policies to determine planning applications within the Neighbourhood Area of Linby Parish.

Linby Parish Council held an earlier six-week consultation (Regulation 14) in June/July 2018. Comments made during this previous consultation have been considered by the Parish Council and resulted in a number of changes being made to the Neighbourhood Plan. Linby Parish Council submitted their Neighbourhood Plan proposal to Gedling Borough Council in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Town and Country Planning Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in November 2018.

Gedling Borough Council is now required to undertake this further formal consultation (Regulation 16) on behalf of the Parish Council. This represents a final opportunity for those interested to make comments on the Neighbourhood Plan. Responses received will be forwarded to the Independent Examiner whose role it is to recommend any amendments and whether or not the Linby Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to referendum.
